Within the broader brand marketing team, the IG Wealth Management team leads the development of effective marketing plans and brand strategies to build out a consistent, best-in-class mass affluent client experience with a focus on digital engagement.

 

The Role

The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will focus on the IG Wealth Management mass affluent brand and client experience. This role requires self-starter who excels when challenged with new opportunities.

 

In this role, you will work closely with the Director, Marketing and Brand Experience and a specialized team of Marketers and Senior Business Partners to implement marketing initiatives that build the IG Wealth Management brand, drive acquisition, growth and retention. You will lead the end-to-end integrated campaign planning process from strategic planning and creative development to production, communication and delivery. The successful candidate will also play a key part in building brand awareness and consideration with consumers and prospects, while also integrating clients, Advisors and employees into campaign strategies. You will own the ongoing evolution of our brand guidelines and brand experience across key properties including our website, social media presence, sponsorships and community activations.

 

The desired candidate will be an experienced brand marketer with 8+ years running integrated media campaigns including OLV, SEM, OOH, print, digital and social, with an eye for lower funnel conversion.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Lead integrated results-driven marketing programs including planning, development, execution and reporting.

  • Engage and lead internal and external partners to ensure marketing programs are flawlessly executed.

  • Develop comprehensive project briefs, creative briefs, business cases, and other internal and external agency processes and documentation.

  • Manage the end-to-end creative development and program implementation process, directing internal and external agency partners and vendors accordingly – leading innovative thinking and efficiency in approach to resources

  • Build, lead, and ensure high-impact response and leverage test & learn approach to marketing campaigns and activities.

  • Coordinate tracking results and assist in the development of post-campaign analysis with other cross functional areas such as research, performance marketing and the media agency for campaign reporting.

  • Proactively manage and optimize budgets, to ensure marketing spend is measured, tracked and maximized.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of integrated marketing experience preferably in Financial Services.

• Experience managing agency partners

• Proven track record of building marketing solutions to business objectives and plans; ability to consistently drive projects through multiple stakeholders

• Experience in development and delivery of marketing plans, creative briefs and managing creative process and timelines

• Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

• Self-starter who proactively brings ideas and optimization recommendations to the team

• Experience working in a matrix environment with large cross-functional teams

• Bilingualism (French and English) an asset

  • Compliance/regulatory knowledge an asset

• Power User: MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
 

Education: A University degree or College Diploma with an emphasis on Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
