Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionAs a key contributor on the Basketball Event Sales Team, the Account Executive, Group Sales is responsible for driving group ticket revenue and executing engaging fan events to support the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Raptors 905 at Scotiabank Arena and Paramount Fine Foods Centre.In this role, you will focus on prospecting new business, building relationships with clients, and delivering tailored group experiences through outbound sales efforts and game-day hosting. You’ll play an active role in supporting overall sales targets, coordinating themed group events, and collaborating across internal teams to enhance the overall ticketing strategy.To succeed, you must be a proactive, goal-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service and experiences. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow their career in sports sales while contributing to our shared purpose: to unite and collaborate with your peers to build outstanding moments for our fans and each other.Contribute positively to a collaborative team culture, supporting teammates, sharing best practices, and helping create a high-energy, competitive, and supportive sales floor.Embody a fan-first philosophy, with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences that turn group attendees into lifelong fans of the team.Sell group ticket packages, gondola rentals, and fan experiences through a variety of outbound strategies including cold calling, targeted email campaigns, social selling, and in-person appointments.Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets, contributing to the team’s overall group sales goals and organizational business objectives.Proactively generate new leads and business opportunities by prospecting local businesses, schools, community organizations, and non-profit groups through high-volume outreach and relationship-building.Establish and nurture long-term client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for group leaders to build trust, encourage repeat attendance, and grow year-over-year renewal revenue.Conduct face-to-face meetings and arena tours with prospective clients to showcase group seating options, hospitality spaces, and value-add fan experiences, creating urgency and excitement around the offering.Actively participate in game-day operations, including staffing sales tables, hosting group clients, assisting with fan experiences, and prospecting new leads during events.Identify emerging trends and new market opportunities to enhance the group sales strategy, including development of new target segments and creative promotional concepts.Approach each client interaction with a solutions-oriented attitude, finding creative ways to overcome objections and tailor offerings to meet specific group needs.QualificationsNote: Before reviewing the qualifications listed below, we want you to know that we understand you may not meet all the qualifications described and have other relevant expertise and experience.
