We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Specialist Advisory to join our team. As a Technical Specialist Advisory, you will be responsible for providing operational support, maintenance, and subject matter expertise to ensure overall DevOps platform’s stability, reliability, performance, and scalability, via contributing to the implementation of tools’ redesign/improvements/upgrades/migrations, proactively engaging and keeping a continuous conversation with the tools’ vendors regarding the best practices and tuning as applied to our Bank’s environments and user community, as well as assisting and coaching the technical team in root cause analysis and problem management for complex incidents and recurring issues including defining preventive measures and tracking their implementation’s completion.

- You are passionate and curious about all things DevOps, Application Lifecycle Management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Agile, Lean and Automation while understanding financial industry’s IT specifics such as Regulations, Security, Audit in a hybrid (Waterfall / Agile) environment.
- You take ownership and drive initiatives through completion, while communicating proactively and effectively with all parties involved.
- You thrive on leading various initiatives and coach team members, while eager to collaborate with them. This collaboration extends across enterprise departments, building relationships and getting quick assistance from others.
- You are open to new and innovative approaches; acceptance of different opinions/feedback and leveraging other team members’ work & ideas. You always seek to continuously improve.
- You are constantly developing yourself by acquiring knowledge from the surrounding teams as well as from self-learning through exploring the Internet, meet ups, conferences, and user communities.
- You believe that empowering end users through coaching/training, robust and secure automation and easily accessible and practical documentation is the way to achieve success in DevOps Technology area.
- When required, you must be available to respond to 3rd level support during incidents & participate in pre-scheduled implementations during evenings and weekends.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- You possess excellent communication (verbal/written) skills. Furthermore, you also have very good interpersonal skills to build relationships with the team; as well as with the internal / external business partners and vendors.
- You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage own’s time and understand the priority of tasks as per team’s goals.
- You have at least 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience as a subject matter expert (SME)/Architect in the DevOps & CI/CD technologies and tools areas.
- You have at least 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience with the architecture, administration, and underlying infrastructure design of ATLASSIAN DATA CENTER (Crowd, Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket).
- You have at least 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience with the architecture, administration, and underlying infrastructure design of CloudBees® Jenkins.
- You have at least 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience with the architecture, administration, and underlying infrastructure design of JFrog Artifactory.
- You can demonstrate hands-on technical working experience in leading & implementing High Availability & Disaster Recovery solutions for Atlassian Data Center in a large enterprise technology setting.
- You can demonstrate a strong technical working knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system.
- You can demonstrate extensive use of Agile methodologies, like Kanban, to track the tasks and activities, as a part of a DevOps tools operational team.
- Hands-on technical working experience in migrating from CloudBees® Jenkins Platform (CJP) to the latest version of CloudBees® CI by utilizing Google Kubernetes (K8s) is highly desirable.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering or in a technology-related field.
