Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionThe Sales Development Academy (SDA) is MLSE’s comprehensive entry-level sales program committed to developing top-tier sales talent and the future leaders of the organization. Built on two main pillars of (1) Team First Culture and (2) Training & Development, this program has the unique ability to drive revenue across all six MLSE sports brands while serving as a succession system for vacant full-time positions on the sales team and other areas of the ticketing department.With a strong sense of coaching, leadership, and the drive for success, you will spearhead the ticketing departments' people development efforts by hiring, training, and leading our entry-level sales program as the Senior Manager, Sales Development Academy. You will recruit, develop, and guide a dedicated group of Sales Academy associates to achieve our desired revenue results across the ticketing business.You will execute, adapt, and continue to evolve the training program for the hourly sales team to meet fiscal sales targets consistently. In addition to the Sales Associates, you will also be directly responsible for the growth and development of your Assistant Manager who will support you in all aspects of the Academy. Outside of development and people leadership, this role also includes the management of our Sales Development Academy presence on LinkedIn, executing monthly recognition, and spearheading our annual Canadian National Sales Competition.Directly mentor a team of part-time sales associates to develop their sales skills and support our brands in achieving annual revenue targets.Plan and execute bi-annual hiring campaigns based on the needs of the program and the brands it supports.Continue to develop and execute the robust onboarding and training program for all new hires.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales Development Academy by hosting impactful weekly kick-off and wrap-up meetings, call blitzes, monthly recognition campaigns, and other tasks as needed.Targeted and relevant training - Provide role-specific training, enabling participants to immediately acquire applicable skills based on the brands and products they are focused on selling.Build and execute quarterly and annual business plans that strategically guide day-to-day ticket sales efforts for the team including prospect pipeline management and sales targets.Support sales reps in an effort to achieve revenue targets, continuously supervising efficiency levels and assessing their performance on a quarterly basis.
