Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionThe MLSE Procurement team is aligned in categories to cover the strategic sourcing needs of our various departments. MLSE Procurement is seeking an individual to support our team in driving a wide range of sourcing activities across various business categories for a period of 6 months. You will be a key contributor towards improving overall value offerings, controlling budgetary costs, and improving contractual service level outcomes with our existing department suppliers and our potential newly selected vendors. You will report and work closely with the Senior Director, Procurement, towards tracking key performance indicators and the achievement of overall corporate targets.In collaboration with the Senior Director, Procurement, lead/manage/support the strategic technology sourcing activity for the applicable (or anticipated) primary departments:IT/Digital LabsHR/FinanceOther department support may vary based on business requirements.Engage continuously with internal customers on their evolving business requirements and help facilitate the continued direction of sourcing strategies in addressing both current and future needs.Accountable for research, preparation, issuance, and management of RFPs, including baseline spend analytics, associated negotiations, and evaluation of responses.Integral in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of associated contractual agreements, in collaboration with the legal department and applicable internal customers.Accountable for establishing and handling specific service level agreements within supplier contracts and tracking associated supplier KPIs/obligations.Potentially coordinate supplier relationship management review sessions seeking to enhance overall operational performance and outcomes.Establish efficiency in each department’s daily supply/service procurement activity within Oracle ERP and ensure the accuracy of the system’s contractual parameters for each supplier.Aid the Procurement Team in driving the improvement of MLSE’s procurement technology tools in support of the overall optimization of procurement goals & functions.Actively advance supplier engagement towards improved diversity and sustainability.Assist with the preparation of the annual planning process.Participate in other tasks and ad-hoc requests as required, including support for other sourcing activity in other categories on an as-required basis.QualificationsNote: Before reviewing the qualifications listed below, we want you to know that we understand you may not meet all the qualifications described and have other relevant expertise and experience.
