The Manager, Data, System Analysis & Planning has overall leadership and oversight accountability for Gas Distribution & Storage (GDS) business system and data program governance, strategy, management, quality, and continuous improvement. In this role you will lead all aspects of the execution of value-driven business cases using capability, culture, capture, design, data, analytics, and AI.

What you will do:

  • Lead and direct end-to-end business strategy for data, process and systems, closely partnered with records, and documents teams at Gas Distribution & Storage (GDS).
  • Partner with tactical execution teams to provide broad perspective, identify cross-function/system opportunities, and develop value-focused strategies for improvement.
  • Develop strategies for M&A related data integration activities with post-transition accountability for continuous improvement toward full alignment.
  • Provide thought leadership, find opportunities for continuous delivery, and make recommendations on increasing integration scalability and robustness of business data structures and solutions.
  • Lead key business education initiatives driving data literacy across GDS.

Who you are:

  • Related university degree preferably in Business, Information Systems/Management, Computer Science, Data Science, or Analytics and 8+years of directly related experience.
  • Experience with business process/system architecture and business systems integration, analysis, and planning.
  • Experience with capital planning.
  • Project experience includes leading portfolios, budgeting, timeline management, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience partnering with business and TIS partners to identify requirements and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher studies with a focus on Data, IT, strategy, or operations.
  • Data & Governance certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional, or other certifications such as PMP Project Management Professional.

Working Conditions:

  • This role typically operates in an office environment with approximately 20% travel across utilities office locations. A valid G license is needed.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
