We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining station electrical systems, unit control systems, and auxiliary equipment controls. You will ensure safe execution of electrical controls activities and provide leadership in planning and directing others.

What you will do:

Maintain electrical systems and equipment (e.g., switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, fans).
-
Maintain DC electrical systems and equipment (e.g., batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters).
-
Maintain station and unit-level electrical control systems and components (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, control networks).
-
Maintain electrical control system end devices (e.g., motor controls, pressure transmitters, switches, sensors, solenoids, actuators).

Maintain safety systems and components (e.g., ESD panels, gas detectors, flame detectors, manual activation switches).

Direct other qualified employees in routine electrical controls-related activities.

Assist in planning work and providing budget-related input as part of the annual budgeting process.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (PHMSA, EPA) through adherence to NFPA 70 NEC, SOPs, and O&M manuals.
Who you are:
You have:
-
Associate degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent education/experience.

3–5 years of related experience.

Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
-
Strong desire to learn and advance as an Electrical Controls Technician.

Working knowledge of facility maintenance operations.

Familiarity with PLC systems and control networks.

The salary range for this position will be $36.00-$48.00 USD.
