The Role
The Senior Manager, Digital Product Owner is a strategic leader responsible for maximizing the value of IG Wealth Management’s Online Access (OA) client portal. Acting as the voice of the business, this role ensures that the OA solution aligns with the IG Wealth Management brand and delivers a seamless, impactful digital experience for both clients and advisors. Operating within a matrixed environment, the Senior Manager partners with stakeholders across Marketing, Compliance, Technology, and business teams to drive adoption and utilization of OA. This position supports the VP, Chief Product Owner in shaping digital strategy, overseeing the product lifecycle, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies and continuous improvement. The ultimate goal is to advance IG Wealth Management’s vision of inspiring financial confidence through exceptional digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP, Chief Product Owner and AVP, Product Owner (Advisor Portal) to define and evolve the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
- Set and track OKRs and product KPIs; prioritize and manage the product backlog to balance business value, client experience, feasibility, and quality.
- Engage stakeholders and business partners to gather feedback and ensure product delivery meets business and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Marketing teams to maintain brand consistency and client experience, leveraging digital tools like Marketing Cloud and Adobe.
- Coordinate across functions in a matrixed environment to drive continuous delivery of business value.
- Establish and report on success metrics; use data and user insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and test new feature ideas that address user needs and support business objectives.
- Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable user stories and product initiatives.
- Lead Agile delivery teams, champion Agile methodologies, and facilitate best practices in digital product management.
- Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and delivery teams for transparency and alignment.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the product team.
Reporting
This role reports to the AVP, Product Owner (Advisor Portal).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in digital product management or strategy, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Experience with digital marketing, UX design and Salesforce (Experience Cloud, Communities, Marketing Cloud) and Adobe is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; CSPO, PSPO, or similar certification is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps in cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and digital product management best practices, with hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Proven track record of delivering successful digital products or features from ideation to launch, with a focus on customer needs.
- Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data and user insights to guide decisions.
- Skilled at translating complex ideas into clear, actionable requirements for diverse stakeholders.
- Effective strategic and tactical decision-maker.
- Strong communicator and stakeholder manager, experienced in cross-functional and vendor partnerships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven, proactive, and innovative, with a passion for digital transformation and user experience.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $87,000 – $124,500 , which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
