Position:
We are currently hiring an intern looking for a summer term position, May to August 2026 in our Winnipeg Office. Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.
The Field Reporting and Recognition (FRR) team is responsible for all reporting, analytics and metrics tracked and reported on in Financial Services Distribution. This includes, but is not limited to: Consultant and Region, Business Insights Dashboards, Business Reporting, compensation and recognition reporting and distribution analytics.
The internship will support a variety of activities within the FRR team, which could include creating and updating reports and presentations, updating and enhancing department SharePoint sites, preforming ad hoc analysis and supporting the development of department data sources.
Responsibilities:
- Assist department analysts with updating and maintaining current BAU reporting and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of reports from new data sources including testing and documentation.
- Support building models and/or preparation of materials used to assess strategic, financial, valuation or other related business decisions.
- Generate insights with ad-hoc research, data analysis and modeling.
- Perform other related tasks to support key priorities within the Business Reporting and Analysis team.
Requirements:
- Registered students returning to school in a related field (B.Comm, Computer Science).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to self-motivate and prioritize time-sensitive deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications including Excel, Access and PowerPoint. This includes the ability to create and produce presentations and reports using the most up to date technology.
- Demonstrated analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of data visualization and sharing tools, such as Power BI, Looker, and SharePoint is an asset.
- Proficiency in computer coding and query languages (SQL, DAX, Python) would be an asset.

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $44,000 – $47,000, which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for paid time off.
