What You’ll DoAs Marketing Manager, Client Communication & Engagement, you will help shape how Mackenzie engages with clients across channels—through compelling communications, strong event experiences, and modern engagement tools. Reporting to the Director, Client Communication & Engagement, you’ll work with partners across Sales, Marketing, and Service to improve adoption of engagement initiatives, strengthen the client journey, and deliver measurable impact.You’ll combine strong execution skills with process discipline—ensuring communications are timely, relevant, and consistent, and that the events (in-person and digital) marketing assets reflect a best-in-class experience. Key ResponsibilitiesLead engagement initiatives and delivery Drive the rollout and adoption of client engagement initiatives in partnership with Sales leaders and Product Marketing.Support Sales teams by enabling easy integration of engagement tools and assets into their sales processes.Manage the client communication calendar to ensure the right audiences receive the right messages at the right time.Oversee and support the delivery of high-quality marketing assets for national in-person and webinar events—from planning through execution and follow-up.Maintain high standards for quality, relevance, and client-centric execution across all communications and initiatives.Continuously improve the tools and platforms used for engagement (e.g., Seismic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), identifying opportunities to enhance capability and performance.Support communication and engagement strategyPartner with internal teams to align engagement efforts to business goals and deliver a cohesive client experience.Develop and implement communication plans that drive outcomes such as content engagement, product adoption, and event attendance.Use client insights, personas, and industry knowledge to tailor communications for distinct audiences and channels.Measure performance and elevate capabilityBuild reporting and insights on engagement and communication performance; share recommendations to improve results over time.Coach and support junior team members through feedback and knowledge-sharing.What You Bring5–7 years of experience in marketing communications, client engagement, and event marketing (financial services or asset management experience is a strong advantage).A track record of executing omni-channel engagement strategies with measurable results.Strong experience delivering marketing assets for both in-person and virtual/webinar events and managing multiple events, marketing assets, and timelines simultaneously.Hands-on experience with marketing automation and/or sales enablement platforms; Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Seismic experience is highly desired.Strong knowledge of Canadian investment industry audiences and how to communicate effectively with advisors and investors.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compliant messaging.Comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and improving processes in a dynamic environment. The expected annual base salary range for this role is ($77,500 – $100,500 ), which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
