We are currently hiring for a Specialist I TIS GIS Product Owner to join our team in either location of Houston TX.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide deep functional and technical knowledge of ESRI GIS technologies (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder, EMap, APR).

  • Support and design changes to GIS applications in partnership with architects and business stakeholders.

  • Manage the GIS product backlog, including solutioning, design, and engagement of supporting teams and vendors.

  • Review vendor deliverables for technical accuracy and alignment with business needs.

  • Assist in resolution of escalated issues related to GIS applications and integrations.

  • Lead migration of legacy GIS tools to modern platforms.

  • Ensure compliance with TIS governance policies and frameworks.

  • Validate solution testing and technical operations readiness prior to implementation.

  • Drive optimization and adoption of implemented GIS solutions.

Who You Are:

  • College or University degree OR three-year technical diploma.

  • Minimum 6 or more years of directly related GIS implementation experience required.

  • Minimum 6 or more years of experience with ESRI GIS technologies (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, Web App Builder) required

  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).

  • Experience collaborating with business partners and external service providers.

  • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and spatial analysis.

  • Understanding of .NET framework for reviewing vendor code and supporting escalations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment (or working remotely, if needed)

  • Travel as required to other office locations, conferences and training locations

  • Fast paced environment frequently taking care of multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
