Position Details:Portfolio Strategy, Research, Governance and Oversight team, Investment Product is currently hiring an intern looking for a summer term position, May to August 2026. Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and plan to return to school after completing the internship to be eligible to apply. Portfolio Strategy, Research, Governance and Oversight team plays a key role in pioneering new avenues of value through creative foresight while strengthening our core business through disciplined product strategy and rigorous oversight. The role will work cross functionally within the team and will primarily report to the Director of Product Technology, Data Infrastructure, and Reporting. Located in our Toronto office, the intern will be responsible for the following activities: Work with members of the team to build out a product database for reporting, insights and analysisBuild and automate reports for use within the team, across the division and for senior leadershipBuild out a web server for self-serve insights, reports, and dashboardsBuild semi-automated and fully automated data pipelines for scheduling and orchestration of data to build capacity and reduce errorsParticipate in architecture discussions about building new functionalityAttend to ad hoc data and analytics requests in a timely mannerCollaborate with other associates across the team and within the division to service the business Requirements: Registered students returning to school in 2026 in field related to finance and/or technology Programming skills in Python (Jupyter, pandas, flask), SQL, and Javascript (Reactjs)Mathematics skills in any of: financial math, statistics, machine learningFinancial instrument and industry knowledgeExcellent interpersonal, communication, judgment & decision-making skills Ability to self-motivate and prioritize time-sensitive deadlinesResourceful and creative in solving new/non-recurring problems through research and well-supported analysis and business acumenProficient in Microsoft Office applications To apply, please include a resume and transcripts (full unofficial version) by March 13, 2026, at 11:59 pm EST. The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $49,000 – $51,000, which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience.
