What You Will Do:

Build proficiency with the use of in-house and industry recognized hydraulics engineering tools.

Conduct hydraulic studies using modelling software to analyze pipeline systems for design and maintenance issues, develop solutions, and issue formal technical recommendations.

Assist engineers in conducting technical reviews, with a focus on hydraulics engineering, at various stages in project life cycle gating process.

Provide engineering support by participating in hydraulics engineering activities related to operation and help troubleshoot hydraulics problems within assigned asset areas.

Support scope development of pipeline and facility projects.

Ensure effective and proactive communication is maintained with all internal and external stakeholders.

Learn and support trans-thermal hydraulic modelling on thermally sensitive assets. Frequently validate and calibrate thermal capacity models.
Who You Are:
-
Completion of a degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, or related degree).

Registered as an Engineer-In-Training with APEGA or eligible to register.

2-4 years of engineering experience.

Experience working with DNV Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS) software is an asset.

Effective interpersonal skills to communicate technical analysis and recommendations to a diverse audience.

Self-motivated and proactive, able to thrive in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines.

Office environment with up to 5% travel.
