Your Role and Responsibilities As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences for the WebSphere organization. Your responsibilities will encompass fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance and functionality, guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging, and design and implementation of innovative features. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Software Development Expertise:

Strong background in software development, with 2 years or more of professional C experience.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills:

Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions when provided logs, code, and configuration information.

  • Experience with Networking:

Experience with general networking protocols and ability to troubleshoot network architectures.

  • Comfortable working in a modern source code system

Experience working in GitHub as the source code system.

  • Collaborative Team Player:

Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team, contributing to collective goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Self-Starter Mindset:

A self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to initiate and drive projects independently.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3 years or more professional development experience in an object oriented language
  • Experience working in Linux environments
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as python and shell script languages
