As the Supervisor Energy Conservation – Industrial Sales, Energy Efficiency Programs at Enbridge Gas, you will lead a team of skilled engineers delivering technically robust energy efficiency solutions to our agriculture/greenhouse customers.

Your team provides detailed technical reviews, project evaluations, and engineering insights to guide the successful implementation of energy conservation initiatives.

Your role is to empower your team, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and collaboration they need to succeed. You will work within the industrial sales leadership team to meet or exceed assigned energy conservation targets set for entire industrial team across the province. Your leadership will ensure that your team operates effectively in delivering impactful solutions while navigating evolving industry requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Provide mentorship, direction, and support to a team of customer-facing engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages building meaningful customer relationships, time management, and technical excellence.

  • Guide your team in evaluating and refining energy efficiency project ideas, helping them navigate regulatory and technical challenges while balancing practical considerations of reaching assigned energy conservation targets.

  • Work closely with other industrial sales teams, program designers, and external partners to support the development and delivery of energy conservation projects.

  • Encourage your team to integrate emerging technologies and innovative practices into DSM initiatives.

  • Use insights from audits, feedback, and evaluations to identify areas for process optimization and skill development within your team for continuous improvement.

  • Represent your team’s perspective in strategic discussions, advocating for the resources and alignment needed to achieve Enbridge’s goals.

Who You Are

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred).

  • Hold an active, current P. Eng licence with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).

  • 7+ years of proven experience with energy efficiency technologies, including HVAC systems, steam systems, combined heat and power, and other natural gas-powered thermal systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and empower technical teams to achieve shared goals.

  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.

  • Skilled in evaluating complex technical challenges and guiding teams toward practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).

  • Familiarity with Ontario’s greenhouse gas emissions regulations and relevant building and energy codes.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment.

  • Approximately 45% of travel is required for site visits, attending meetings and industry events. Valid passport required.
