As a Senior Business Development Rep, you are going to lead, support and provide commercial advice for liquid pipeline market development initiatives across North America. This position will require analysis, evaluation, negotiation, and agreement development associated with Liquids Pipelines business development opportunities.
What you will do:

Lead projects and coordinate activities with key internal stakeholders and act as liaison between these and the customer. Activities include, among others, technical, legal, tax, treasury and economic evaluation/modeling.

Manage/support projects through the project lifecycle from conception to in-service with a focus on budget and schedule.

Monitor market conditions and industry events along with political and business environments to assess viability of business prospects.

Develop and maintain strong business relationships with external customers to determine needs and coordinated information exchange in the development of new business opportunities.

Lead and provide support for the development of proposals to customers by providing analysis, contract development and presentation of materials to internal and external stakeholders.

Support commercial component of business proposals presented to senior management and/or the Board of Directors for approval by assisting with gathering information and developing communication material.
Who you are:

Professional degree in engineering, economics or finance or equivalent

Master’s Degree is considered an asset

Minimum seven years of directly related experience in business development or the energy and pipeline industry.

Strong financial and business acumen.

You have a high degree of personal initiative and responsibility to ensure projects contribute to shareholder value.

Strong organizational, analytical and inter-personal skills are required.

Excellent written, verbal and communication and presentation skills.

Ability to develop strong relationships with external customers to identify business opportunities for Enbridge as well as with internal stakeholders in support of pipeline proposals.

Previous pipeline experience regarding the development of commercial pipeline proposals and negotiation experience is an asset
