We are looking for a Sr Analyst Business Optimization Services to join our outstanding team!

This role is accountable to coordinate and maintain key financial, operating, and performance measurement information for the various Ontario Operations functions. This role will also include analytic support for financial budgets, forecasting, and performance measurement reporting.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate and coordinate the preparation and maintenance of the functional O&M, revenue and capital budgets and forecasts.

  • Provide management with regular analysis and reporting to understand variances to budget and ensure accurate forecasting.

  • Serve as the key contact for O&M, Revenue, Asset Management, and other various support functions.

  • Perform analysis on scorecard including variance reporting for any critical metrics.

  • Analyze O&M, Capital, and Revenue, reviewing actuals year over year and ensure spend is optimized to meet targets, while ensuring correct accounting has been applied and completing corrections where required

  • Coordinate and update FTE position tracking for the function

  • Provide business support and analysis to leadership for the identification, planning, tracking, and reporting of optimization opportunities.

Who You Are

You will have the following:

  • University degree in (Business/Business Management, Finance, or Accounting, preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of general business experience OR 4+years of previous field operations experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain collaborative relationships.

  • Ability to think analytically and perform detailed analysis.

  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Digital literacy and strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Oracle and Enbridge forecasting applications is considered an asset.

  • Preference for operations, finance, and analytical related experience.
