What you will do:

  • Assist with the conducting of risk assessments and continuous monitoring on third parties/suppliers/customers and internal systems/applications, including:

  • Recommend appropriate mitigations to the business to ensure proposed mitigations are implemented.

  • Support and proactively recommend process and other improvements to ECP programs, including Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Competition/Antitrust, Human Rights Violation Prevention, and Privacy programs.

  • Provide internal collaborators with other advice and support as required in connection with compliance programs.

  • Collaborate with other teams within the Ethics & Compliance Department in respect of department-wide initiatives, such as the annual Ethics & Compliance Week and the annual enterprise-wide Integrity Awards.

Who you are:

  • University Degree or Technical Diploma, preferably in a legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, or risk management-related discipline

  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, risk management, or similar field

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proactive self-starter with strong internal customer focus

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to use judgement and discernment to solve problems and make practical decisions

  • Ability to work independently and to efficiently manage time, priorities, and goals

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate optimally with others, including peers and internal and external partners

  • Experience/knowledge of MS Office suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and SharePoint.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with minimal travel to other Enbridge locations.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
