Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionAs a valuable member of the RS Catering team, you will be responsible for delivering championship fan service and event execution to guests and clients during a variety of corporate and social events.Oversee catering events and a la carte service, depending on business needs.Prepare and organize setup outlines, production sheets, and seating plans.Ensure pre- and post-service tasks are completed and staff are assigned sections and duties.Lead expedition of BEOs, liaising with the kitchen and client/food to the dining room.Ensure order discrepancies are quickly resolved in a calm and professional manner.Supervise the floor during the event/during service; respond to client & guest concerns.Ensure closing duties are completed with attention to detail.Document service issues and resolutions.Produces post-event evaluation reports, including financial data entry and overall analysis.Attend BEO Meetings, stay informed of updates via the change log.Lead by example and provide ongoing coaching/training / motivation to staff.Assist with other administrative functions, including employee performance reviews.Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.Follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures.Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsNote: Before reviewing the qualifications listed below, we want you to know that we understand you may not meet all the qualifications described and have other relevant expertise and experience.  We invite you to please share this with us in the “Message to the Hiring Manager” section of our online application.2+ years of event experience, catering/banquet preferred.Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Smart Serve certification required.Deep understanding and practical knowledge of restaurant business principles and service etiquette.Strong organizational skills.Effective team management experience.A dedicated approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands.Comprehensive knowledge of food and wine.Competent with POS (Point of Sales).An aptitude for identifying and assessing details.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Shown to perform well under pressure; handle multiple priorities at a time.Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction.Additional InformationApply by: August 5, 2025We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. At MLSE, we are committed to building an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organization.We are an equal opportunity employer and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, record of offences, marital status, family status or disability. You will provide support to the bartenders by assisting in the delivery of timely and professional service.Set and stock bar (including lifting boxes, mats, and cases).Ensure that bar stations and wells are fully stocked (juices, garnishes, small wares, ice).Maintain a clean and organized bar, including storage areas, throughout the shift.Assist bartenders with any tasks necessary to ensure a flawless guest experience.Polish cutlery and glassware.Lift, move, and change kegs.Waste management, bottle organization.Ensure adequate inventory of products and glassware.Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including product allergies.Provide friendly and informed responses to inquiries.Support with any duties necessary during times of need, as requested by the manager.Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.Follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures.Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.Complete side duties and other tasks as assigned by the bartender and bar manager.QualificationsNote: Before reviewing the qualifications listed below, we want you to know that we understand you may not meet all the qualifications described and have other relevant expertise and experience.
