As part of the CMM (Contract Market Modernization) project, the Advisor is our main Business Design Expert (BDE) as it relates to Contracting & Billing (C&B). This position supports the functional business processes, overall design and implementation of the Contract Market system (SAP) which will replace several legacy systems (i.e. Contrax, Entrac, Enerline, URICA, Care and Focus).

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in collaborative end-to-end business workshops with other Business Design Experts, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), Functional Leads and System Implementer (SI) to verify / validate business requirements, develop harmonized processes, and ensure documentation is accurately represented in our project deliverables (i.e., Lean Specification documents).

  • Prioritize, review and validate solution deliverables (business & system) to ensure they comply with our business needs.

  • Provide process, functional, and technical expertise for blueprinting, design, build, test and implementation.

  • Support and collaborate with other process workstreams to ensure a cohesive end-to-end solution.

  • Lead meetings and influence key decisions by coordinating with Business Subject Matter Experts when required to ensure a collaborative and thoughtful end to end solution is being delivered.

  • Support and execute on varying tasks as it relates to other tracks of work on the project such as Green Button, Customer Portal design (incl. User Experience), Organizational Change Management (OCM), testing and training, reporting, compliance, policies / procedures, downstream system impacts, cutover activities, and business readiness etc.

  • Act as a proxy for People Leader if / when required.

  • Support the project team as requested in all phases of the project.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree in Business, Finance, or Project Management and a minimum of four (4) years or more of experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.

  • Strong computers skills with MS Office Suite including Visio and familiarity with database concepts such as hierarchy of data, structure, relationships, etc.

  • Ability to perform multiple work assignments at varying stages of completion with a high degree of accuracy while working to tight time constraints and changing priorities.

  • A broad understanding of or ability to quickly learn the Direct Purchase and Distribution contracting / billing processes.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage, negotiate and influence others.

  • Strong professionalism, communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision and drive results on your own.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of ConTrax, Enerline, SAP S/4 HANA or other SAP Modules, WEBi, Adobe Acrobat and/or Microsoft Office.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale projects, coordinating multiple workstreams, and effectively prioritizing tasks to support team members

  • Demonstrated experience in process documentation, developing workflow diagrams, and creating policies and procedures to support consistent and efficient business operations

  • Understanding of Enbridge’s Large Volume Contract Rates and Services

  • Insight / understanding on Enbridge’s Harmonized Rate Application to the Ontario Energy Board.

  • Experience in the natural gas and/or utilities market.

Working Conditions (Optional):

  • Typical office environment with the expectation to travel between the offices of Chatham and Toronto for the duration of the project (typically once every 2 months).
