Are you experienced in completing purchase orders, contracts and / or projects relating to supply chain logistics? Can you proactively manage cross-functional meetings, systems, and processes simultaneously?

We are seeking an Advisor, Delivery Assurance Expediting & Logistics to join our Enterprise Materials Inventory Team! In this role, you will oversee and manage all logistics related tasks and activities to support the timely delivery of goods and materials to Supply Chain Management clients.

Please note: This opportunity is located in either Edmonton, Calgary or Houston.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategically partner with the business to assess current/future business requirements and utilize this information for logistics planning purposes.

  • Develop accurate forecast on total cost to the project (delivery time and logistics cost).

  • Identify and conduct risk analysis and plan for effective mitigating solutions.

  • Coordinate logistics moves with suppliers and look after supplier delivery.

  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and develop continuous improvement plans and corrective action plans with key logistics suppliers

  • Develop and build supplier relationships with key supplier stakeholders.

Who You Are:

You will bring the following combination of education and experience:

  • A related university degree and 3+ years of directly related experience.

  • Knowledge of logistics, inventory management principles and Supply Chain Management

  • Strong customer service skills while managing client expectations

  • Able to work in fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

  • Proficiency of MS Windows, Outlook and Office Suite (Word, Excel & Power Point).

  • SCM related professional certification and knowledge of transportation laws and regulations is considered an Asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with occasional travel to suppliers and other Enbridge operation locations as the need arises. A valid drivers’ license and responsible driving record is required.
