As an Advisor in the Tidal Financial Services team, you will coordinate payment processing and manage the AP sub-ledger for all Tidal commodities. You’ll oversee OpenLink GL/Accrual interfaces, cash management, and daily bank activities for multiple business units, leading settlement responsibilities from a Financial Services perspective.

What You Will Do

  • Process payments and clear AP/AR sub-ledgers for all commodities across multiple entities (ERMI, ERMUS, TEMI, TEMUS).

  • Oversee Openlink Actuals GL Interface and financial settlements for all commodities.

  • Manage cash clearing and daily bank activity, including balances and reconciliations.

  • Review and post journal entries to clear financial settlement balances with brokers.

  • Lead weekly and monthly payment runs and settlements for TEMI and TEMUS.

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of Tidal’s financial systems and processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • Hold a university degree in a related financial field (accounting, finance, or financial risk management).

  • Possess a professional accounting designation plus 2 years post-designation experience and at least 4 years experience overall experience.

  • Have significant energy marketing accounting experience, preferably in a Back Office environment.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of business analytics for commodity marketing and experience with complex oil/natural gas marketing and risk systems (Open Link, Oracle Cloud, Smartview/EPBCS/HFM).

  • Exhibit effective interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commercial focus.

  • Proven ability to organize and complete projects aimed at improving financial and system processes.
