As an Advisor, TIS Systems Analysis, you will own complex operational technology (OT) issues end-to-end—driving investigation, resolution, and continuous improvement while following safety, security, and change-management standards. You will maintain and optimize industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and supporting infrastructure to keep critical power operations reliable, secure, and compliant.

What you will do

  • Lead OT/ICS incident and problem resolution through deep troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution design, and controlled implementation.

  • Maintain, configure, and optimize SCADA and business networks across power facilities to meet availability, integrity, and security expectations.

  • Perform site visits to inspect environments, validate hardware health, and install/replace rack-mounted equipment as needed.

  • Partner with operations, engineering, vendors, and project managers to clarify requirements, manage impacts, and deliver work to schedule.

  • Strengthen governance by keeping architecture diagrams, procedures, CMDB/ServiceNow inventories, and access records accurate and current.

  • Support compliance activities (e.g., NERC), including backups/restore readiness, risk assessments (TPRA/TRA), and change-management adherence.

Who you are

  • You have a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 4+ years of directly related experience (5+ years is an asset).

  • Bring hands-on experience in OT/ICS environments, including industrial telemetry/protocols (e.g., OPC, MODBUS, DNP).

  • Strong in network administration and troubleshooting across servers, switches, and system-level components (Cisco/Hirschmann/Moxa/SEL experience is an asset).

  • Comfortable managing Windows Server (2019/2022) and Windows 10/11, plus virtualization and backup/disaster recovery practices.

  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and produce crisp documentation; you’re known for accountability and follow-through.

  • Can travel as required and hold a valid driver’s license; familiarity with NERC CIP and relevant certifications

  • (CompTIA/Cisco/Microsoft) are assets.
