Fund mandates are pan-Asia, so you will have the opportunity to trade all markets from Australia to India. Act as a back-up trader, and be able to perform primary trading responsibilities, as neededExecuting and closely monitoring European equity trades, providing summaries to Canada-based traders as the book is handed over. Executing and generating FX orders for equity settlement. Assisting the ETF Business in trading fixed income and generating/executing ETF orders with potential to play an active role in the ETF Business. Maintaining internal data sets including commissions, attribution, and transaction cost data. Improve existing spreadsheets and tools used by the trading deskDisseminating relevant market or stock specific information to analysts and portfolio managers while developing strong relationships with brokers. Working closely with the middle office team to resolve trade mismatches and other issues.Perform other ad hoc investment related and administrative tasks, as directed by the trader or portfolio managersRequirementsBachelor’s degree in related field, and 3 years relevant experience either in a trading, data analytics, or a trading support roleFocused and driven, with a desire to learn new skills Strong interest in financial markets, and understanding of equities and asset management Must be organized and have strong attention to detailDemonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
