The Role

 

Support IGM’ strategic initiatives including IG Wealth Management region office modernization and renovation. – including Quebec based projects where written and spoken communications must abide by the recipient’s preferred language  

 

Reporting to the Senior Practice Manager, Real Estate Delivery, you will be assigned to

  • support program/project managers in delivering our active projects
  • coordinate delivery of smaller project (<$1M) moves/adds/changes and projects

 

You will be accountable for compiling information, preparing presentations, coordinating tasks with the lines of business. The ideal candidate is highly organized and flexible to support the most critical tasks needed within the current project phase.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Compiling data from multiple sources for leader updates and presentations
  • Compile and track action items and follow up when required.
  • Process purchasing requests to issue purchase orders and process incoming invoices for payment
  • Coordinate moves/adds/changes and assigned projects with vendors and stakeholders
  • Prepare summary reports

The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate:

  • Bilingual mandatory (English & French)
  • Strong communication skills, experience in project coordination, facilities or construction management and proven tracking and reporting skills 
  • Experience involving multiple departments, vendors, external partners
  • Understanding of the construction and associated processes from the perspective of the owner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Online, and Microsoft PowerPoint

Additional Information

  • There is a requirement to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Total hours per week are 37.5 hours 

 

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and Team members within and/ or outside the province of Quebec.
