Department Summary:

IG Wealth Management delivers support to clients, Advisors, Assistants, Investors Group Specialists and others on administrative matters and products, such as mutual funds, other IGFS, IGFS (Nominee) and IGSI investments, mortgage loans, etc. 

 

The Opportunity

As a coordinator, you will have the opportunity to excel in your role by:

  • Providing High-Quality Service: Deliver exceptional service to both external and internal customers. Manage and service client accounts in both English and French. Interpret and analyze documentation for the input and processing of various registered and non-registered investment products, ensuring all requests are completed in accordance with IG Wealth Management’s policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
  • Creating Effortless Client Experiences: Support internal departments and external clients with all client requests. Apply business knowledge and foster a client-focused mindset to ensure seamless experiences.
  • Identifying Opportunities for Improvement: Collaborate with internal business partners to continuously enhance business processes. Identify and implement changes and optimizations in a collaborative manner.

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for managing client transfers to other institutions. An external transfer-out involves the movement of client assets, cash, and/or securities from IG Wealth Management to another financial institution. The role requires efficient processing of requests, primarily submitted via fax and subsequently ingested into Trex. 

Duties Include:

  • Completing sells or in-kind transfers to other institutions
  • Ensuring procedures and regulations are met for every out -going account. Reviewing and ensuring all transfer requirements have been met prior to submitting the transfer to the relinquishing institution via NON-Aton or Aton process.
  • Using previous experience, knowledge and available resources to meet the position’s productivity and quality objectives, in keeping with service level agreements
  • Performing additional tasks to help achieve department objectives 
  • Keying into the A$M system (Fundserv). Accurately input data into the A$M system ensuring precision and adherence to established protocols.
  • Extract Exception Report Data: Retrieve data from exception reports and conduct a thorough analysis to determine the root cause of each exception.

Qualifications:

Financial Industry Experience:
Possess 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong passion for creating and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Proficient in back-office data processes and procedures, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Fundserv, TreX, and RBroker operating systems.

Relationship Management:
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with teams, peers, and business partners across the company, both in-person and virtually. Highly engaged, displaying a professional attitude and strong customer orientation.

Results-Oriented Mindset:
Detail-oriented with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Committed to self-development and continuous learning.

Strategic Thinking:
Capable of problem-solving and making decisions within regulatory environments.

Communication:
strong written and oral communication skills.

Planning and Organization:
Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to frequently changing priorities.

Education:
Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.

Availability:
Candidates must be available to work shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime during weekdays and weekends
