About the Role

As Director, Digital Applications Delivery, you will be a key member of our Digital Technology team, partnering with business and technology leaders across IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments. You will play a critical role in shaping and executing our digital roadmap, leading strategic initiatives that deliver innovative solutions and exceptional experiences for clients, advisors, and employees.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Build strong business relationships and act as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with Account Managers and Development Leads.
  • Drive planning and prioritization discussions with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment on project intake, capacity, and progress.
  • Provide technology insights to influence business decisions, ensuring early engagement of key partners (Architecture, Development, Centers of Excellence).
  • Translate complex technology concepts into clear business language and actionable recommendations.

Delivery Excellence

  • Ensure digital projects deliver on defined business outcomes and client experience goals.
  • Engage in project-level decision-making, balancing trade-offs and communicating priorities to stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve disconnects through negotiation and governance.
  • Support resource planning and onboarding of internal and external talent.
  • Monitor project progress in partnership with EPMO, addressing risks and issues impacting timelines, budget, or scope.
  • Oversee resolution of escalated IT issues and ensure operational, reputational, and intellectual risks are understood.
  • Champion change management activities, including clear communication of rationale, impacts, and actions to minimize disruption.

What You Bring

  • Industry Expertise: Financial Services experience required.
  • Delivery Experience: Extensive background in digital project delivery and program governance.
  • Agile Knowledge: Strong experience with Agile methodology; SAFe certification preferred.
  • Technology Skills: Salesforce platform experience desired.
  • Education: University degree required; Master’s in Technology or Business preferred.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $142,500 – $178,500, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
