Position:
The Manager, Practice Technology will conduct training for and provide front line assistance to Advisors and their teams on Digital Advisor Platform applications, with the primary goal of enhancing practice productivity through effective usage and adoption.
Responsibilities:
Lead regular region training sessions on Digital Advisor Platform applications
- Present on-site training for region meetings
- Present on-site and virtual training for small groups
- Provide regular updates on new features and enhancements to the Digital Advisor Platform
- Promote the use of self-guided training materials
- Provide direction on problem resolution and escalation channels
Provide deskside coaching for teams on Digital Advisor Platform applications
- Deliver individual coaching to IG Private Wealth Management teams
- Deliver small group coaching to IG Wealth Management teams
- Record and track coaching activities
Train and support new advisor, associate, and assistant hires on Digital Advisor Platform applications
- Deliver onboarding training for Digital Advisor Platform applications
Provide input to Digital Advisor Platform applications teams
- Aid in new feature and enhancement ideation and prioritization
- Aid in post-implementation verification testing
Aid in development of Digital Advisor Platform application training materials
- Collaborate with leadership and IG University to create job aids, training modules, and presentations in support of Digital Advisor Platform application adoption
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Post secondary degree
- Performance-driven high achiever with strong performance coaching and presentation excellence
- Proficiency in the use of digital tools including Microsoft Office, Advisor Portal (Salesforce)
- Proficiency in one or more applications in the Digital Advisor Platform and general aptitude for digital applications
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bi-lingual in French and English (in Quebec)
*Digital Advisor Platform applications include Advisor Portal (Salesforce), Tableau, Online Access (Client Portal), Digital Forms (Salesforce/DocuSign), Transact, Living Plan Portal (Conquest Planning), Investment Portal (CapIntel), interVal, Life Design Analysis, nesto, MS Teams, MS Bookings, IG University Campus (SAP Success Factors), social selling applications, plus other applications added to the DAP in future. (Note: LPP training will be limited to non-planning support, including LPP plan setup and report generation).
The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $73,500 – $95,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
