Position Summary

The Senior CIF Analyst will support the existing SAP CRM Business Partner solution and manage the day-to-day operations including supporting business and data governance teams in maintaining client data, analyze, design and test software solutions to meet our business objectives. This function requires a meticulous attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly to multiple stakeholders including data stewards from different lines of business, second and third level support and incident management. The ideal candidate is willing to learn technology and apply their learnings to improve the client experience.

 

Duties Include:

  • Incident management relating to client data consolidated from different sources.

  • Regularly perform integrity checks to ensure client data is accurate and complete.

  • Implement systems to track and analyze errors, identifying patterns and areas for improvement.

  • Generate detailed reports that highlight data entry accuracy rates and areas needing.

  • Ensuring the quality of the solution by creating test plans and testing the results of the development meets the requirements of the business.

  • Liaises with business stakeholders and other teams to understand business objectives and design a solution that will meet their analytics and management reporting needs.

  • Elicits requirements from business stakeholders through interviews, workshops, business process analysis, business scenarios, and user stories.

  • Analyzes and conceptualizes the design of the data solution, working with the Systems Architect and Software Developer to achieve the client stakeholder objectives through effective deployment of technology.

  • Analyzing source or target system data requirements and mapping the data to match the enterprise data platform design.

  • Identifying outlying data patterns and data cleanliness issues for resolution.

  • Documenting the high-level design and data flows end-to-end.

  • Design of models (including dimensional models, views, table functions, etc.), ensuring alignment to standards both industry (e.g., Kimball) and internal (e.g. security, data governance).

       Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline (CMA, MBA, Management Information Systems, Commerce, Business Analysis, and Computer Science).

  • 3+ years’ experience working with business principles and a broad range of different types of business functions.

  • Strong understanding of IS Methodologies, processes, and practices.

  • Experience with data systems analysis and data warehouse design. Strong SQL skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that rely on a structured approach to problem solving.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure.

  • Experience in Financial Services and Wealth Management industries would be an asset.

  • Experience in Tableau would be an asset.

  • Knowledge of SAP in the one of the following areas (Web Intelligence, BW and HANA) would be an asset.
