Position:

The successful candidate will join the Reporting & Analytics team in the Business Management Office. We measure technology service performance and user experience through data-driven insights.

 

Our team designs reporting frameworks and processes that make analytics effective and reliable. We identify key data points, work with Technology teams to turn them into actionable insights and present these insights in structured decks that tell compelling stories and support informed decisions.

 

This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting. You’ll collect and analyze data, build dashboards, automate processes, create presentation decks, and prepare supporting insights while learning how to turn raw data into meaningful stories in collaboration with data owners and presenters.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Help design and build analytics solutions
  • Create and prepare impactful executive PowerPoint presentations
  • Support recurring operational reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Document processes and identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks
  • Modernize and maintain team SharePoint sites

 

Requirements: 

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Familiarity with data management platforms (SAP HANA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Power Automate, Teams, OneNote)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and IT Service Management tools (ServiceNow) is an asset
  • Experience creating and managing SharePoint sites is an asset

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $44,000 – $47,000, which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for paid time off.
