We’re looking for a multifaceted Commercial Account Representative to lead efforts in safeguarding the base value of all GTM assets, crafting new revenue opportunities (both short- and long-term), and optimizing asset performance. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the face of our organization to key clients—building positive relationships, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring long-term success for both our business and our partners.

What you will do:

  • Front line to customer base with goal being highest level of customer service
  • Protect the base, budget and forecast as we endure continued increase in the complexity of the workload and number of assets managed
  • Assist customers as they use contracted services from each of the pipeline and storage facilities as well as monitoring and pro-actively handling customer contract imbalances.
  • Applies knowledge of the FERC Gas Tariff to customer’s system utilization and ensures daily compliance with the current regulatory environment.
  • Coordinate between the various operational, regulatory, marketing and capacity groups to handle customer’s contract usage in the context of existing operating conditions.
  • Works with customers on developing and implementing both transportation and storage utilization strategies.
  • Troubleshoots all customer operational and contractual problems/issues and has ultimate responsibility to ensure that customer receives timely resolution of all discrepancies involving pipeline services.
  • Support the Business Development groups throughout the US and Storage transmission group
  • Participate in special projects as needed, including implementation of new LINK and regulatory processes and new projects coming in service
  • Knowledgeable across all 25 assets managed by US GTM (or ability to learn.)
  • Knowledgeable in Rate Case Strategy and voice to customer in communicating and understanding new rate structure.
  • Knowledgeable in market fundamentals across the US, Mexico, and Canada US pipeline grid to make contractual commercial decisions and protect the base

Who you are:

You have:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience working with assets, crafting revenue opportunities and optimizing assets within a commercial function where customer service was a priority along with a bachelor’s degree

You can:

  • Show knowledge of one or any of the following groups: LINK, Asset Integrity, Regulatory, Capacity services, Contracts, Gas Control, System Planning or Commercial

You are:

  • An outstanding verbal and written communicator with strong interpersonal skills

The following are considered assets:

  • Natural gas asset knowledge is preferred

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
