The Commercial Analyst supports commercial opportunities for Enbridge in Western Canada, including the Westcoast pipeline, storage assets, and development‑stage projects in natural gas, NGLs, and low‑carbon fuels. This role applies financial and commercial analysis, builds strong internal relationships, and supports cross‑functional teams through the full lifecycle of commercial opportunities.

What You Will Do:
-
Support Enbridge’s Canadian gas transmission and midstream (CGTM) commercial activities including Westcoast BC pipeline, Aitken Creek Gas Storage and Business Development opportunities.

Support new business development opportunities which align with the Company’s strategy.
-
Support due diligence efforts associated with new opportunities, including risk identification and mitigation.
-
Develop and provide materials in support of negotiations with customers and prospective partners and generate cross‑functional support throughout entire negotiation cycle and due diligence activities.

Support and develop materials in the conceptualize and qualification of growth projects working closely with customers and partners as well as internal technical, legal and regulatory resources.

Market development opportunities to existing and prospective customers, developing and managing processes where applicable and negotiating terms with customers and partners.

Support relationship and consensus building across several internal departments, including but not limited to – Regulatory, Legal, Engineering, System Planning, Project Development, Economic Evaluation, Marketing, Contracts, and Commercial Operations.

Support post‑mortem review of unsuccessful efforts and records outcomes to assess competitiveness in the market.

Supports CGTM in the development of strategic planning and initiatives.
You Have:
-
A University Degree from Business, Engineering or related undergraduate program.
-
Minimum of 2 years of business development or related energy infrastructure experience.

Strong financial modelling, PowerPoint and adjacent skills.
-
A strong understanding of the value drivers and fundamentals of the businesses in which Enbridge operates (e.g., pipelines, terminals, storage, utilities, renewables and low carbon development).

Strong business analytical skills, communication skills, business acumen, and creativity to develop innovative solutions.

Ability to work independently with a high degree of self‑motivation.

Strong financial acumen.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to flexibly work across CGTM’s assets and projects (BC Pipeline, gas storage and BD opportunities).

Office environment with potential travel required to asset locations, customer sites, and business conferences in Canada and the US.
