We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Confirmation Analyst to join our Houston-based team. This role is primarily responsible for preparing, administering, and maintaining crude oil transaction confirmations for Enbridge’s marketing affiliate, while providing supplemental support for natural gas confirmations. The position ensures accuracy, compliance with internal procedures, risk controls, and audit requirements, playing a critical role in mitigating transactional risk and supporting operational excellence.

What you will do:

Prepare crude oil transaction confirmations ranging in complexity from basic to complex.

Review externally prepared crude oil transaction confirmations and compare to internal systems, as applicable, to ensure deal parameters and any additional information are accurately reflected in the confirmations.

Provide back-up support to the Advisor Confirmation & Contracts role in preparing, maintaining and administering confirmations for certain gas activities and power, ensuring transactional risk is mitigated by timely and accurate verification per applicable Risk Policies, SOX and audit requirements.

Responsible to ensure monthly, adhoc and 1st of month pricing is updated timely and accurately into Egistix system, for Accounting’s monthly settlements.

Provide internal and external auditors detailed walkthrough of all controls on an annual basis. Possess strong knowledge of control environments for confirmations area to identify and report Risk policy violations and non-compliance items.

Support Contract Negotiator and participate in special projects, as required.
Who you are:
Required:

University degree or college diploma in business / commerce with limited work experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification, and experience. For candidates who do not possess a university degree or college diploma a minimum of 3-years of related experience is required.

Preferred

Confirmation related experience or administrative commodity experience. Endur/Openlink, Egistix and Sharepoint are a plus.

Physical Requirements: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
