Are you an experienced Corrosion Technician looking for a new challenge? In this position you will be responsible for executing all area corrosion programs, working in a team environment within the Transmission North area based in Fort St. John, BC.

  • Conduct pipeline inspections, repairs, and coatings.

  • Responsible for all area Corrosion Programs.

  • Troubleshoot and monitor condition of equipment.

  • Be capable of working all Unifor 4960 shifts.

  • Demonstrate leadership and safety with Team and contractors.

Who you are

You have the following qualifications and skills:

Required: 

  • Hold a valid driver’s license.

  • Basic computer skills.

Preferred:

  • Ground Disturbance Supervisor Level II Training.

  • Successful completion of NACE level 1 certification within a reasonable time frame.

  • Knowledge of Workday (time entry and indication of maintenance requirements).

  • Ability to troubleshoot and monitor work and equipment conditions.

  • UT/MAG NDT experience.

  • Experience maintaining CP rectifiers.

  • Experience with pipeline integrity excavations, inspections and coating.
