The Director of Cloud and Infrastructure will lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud and infrastructure solutions to meet business needs. This role involves managing Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure Services ensuring security and compliance, optimizing performance, and supporting project demands within the scope of infrastructure deliverables. The candidate will work with various technologies and tools to deliver products and services to the organization. Key Accountabilities:Maintain and mature technology practices in Infrastructure Services and DeliveryOptimizing cloud and infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.Ensuring security and compliance of cloud and infrastructure services.Managing vendor relationships and external partnerships.Maintain roadmaps for platforms and technologies as well as major work on strategic initiativesEstablish new services and products for the organizationEnhancement of existing services, processes with a continuous improvement mindsetInter-team coordination with business, technical teams, engineering Pro-active, problem-solving attitude and ability to work calmly under pressureBuild professional relationships with LoBs and stakeholder groups in organizationKeep stakeholders and team members informed of dates, effort, costs vs. estimatesRecognize conflicts and challenges to resources, blockers, dependencies and initiate problem solving and risk mitigation strategiesManagement of team membersCoach, lead, attract and retain talentFocus on team building, developmentBalance FTE and contractors to fulfill demands and grow capabilitiesRegular management of demand and throughputInvolved in design, project intake and definition of buildUnderstand Engineering team resource commitments, constraints and provide transparency to the processWith support of peers; provide estimates to other technical and business teams for Engineering effort, costs and AssumptionsQualification:Post-Secondary Education diploma/degree5-7 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure managementExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), cloud security and compliance, cloud service modelsCloud certifications (Azure, GCP)Well-crafted verbal and written communicationsExcellent written and verbal communication and report writing skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to apply critical thinking to problems presented.
