Job Summary: The Director of Transaction Management will oversee and manage all real estate transactions within the corporate real estate division. This role involves strategic planning, oversight of negotiations, and execution of real estate deals to support IGM Financial’s growth and operational needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate transactions, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:Transaction Oversight: Lead and manage all real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and subleases.Strategic Planning:Develop and implement transaction strategies that align with the IGM Financial’s business objectives and growth plans.Forecast transaction activity over a 24-36-month period to optimize outcomes, considering market trends, financial headwinds, and opportunities to engage landlords with multiple transactions for better deal terms.Oversight of Negotiations: Supervise and guide the negotiation process, ensuring terms and conditions of real estate deals are favorable for the company, while delegating direct negotiation tasks to transaction managers.Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential transactions, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure seamless transaction processes.Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on transaction activities, market trends, and performance metrics to senior management.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of transaction managers and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
