What you will do:
-
Provide maintenance and troubleshooting of turbine emissions monitoring and controls.

Work with significant independence on standard assignments.
-
Demonstrate a detailed understanding of Enbridge Safety Policies and Procedures and act in accordance with them at all times.

Learn the operation of more sophisticated equipment and procedures.
-
Participate in design reviews with the ability to decipher diagrammatic/one-line drawings
-
Ensure that all pertinent records are accurate, current and that preventative maintenance schedules are timely.

Serve as a backup E/C Tech at other locations on an as needed basis
-
Assess and ensure situations are safe to perform the work required and the most effective way of carrying out the work.

Sets up station in various operating modes based on system demands.
-
Monitors, operates, and performs routine inspections on station air systems, fuel systems, cooling water systems, oil systems, and safety systems.

Monitors operational pressures and alarm set points.
-
Operates station auxiliary operational equipment.
-
Operates all station valves.
-
Monitors operation of station filter systems and liquids storage systems.
-
Responsible for the completion of reports including gas loss, weekly/monthly inspections, environmental facility report, and others as required.

Consistently works in a safe, responsible manner and actively participates in safety related programs.

Actively participates as a work group team member and maintains a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.

Performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies, such as the Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Administration (PHMSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through alignment to NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (NEC), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.

Who you are:
You have the following education and/or experience:
-
Associate’s Degree in a relevant technical field, such as, Electrical/Controls, Electrical Engineering or Controls Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.

2-4 years of electrical/instrumentation experience in an industrial type setting OR the equivalent experience necessary to perform required tasks of Technician Level 2 on a stand-alone basis.

Competent in NFPE 70E Code & Arc Flash Safety

You reside or are willing to reside within 30 miles of assigned location
-
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, be on call and standby, and travel overnight as the need arises
