We are seeking a Plant Manager who will ensure the safe and reliable operation of the Chapman Ranch Wind generation facility. This position leads all aspects of the operational and administrative needs of the facility.
As the top level leader on site you will ensure Enbridge values are accurately applied on site and managed effectively. The role will be based in Corpus Christi, Texas.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus, benefits on day one of employment, savings plan, 401K and 3 weeks vacation.
What You Will Do:

Ensure the safety of staff, contractors equipment, and the site

Lead engagement of support services for the site (engineering, finance, regulatory compliance, other). Support and promote information flow to and from all levels within the region and across Enbridge.

Provide maintenance and troubleshooting of wind turbines, SCADA, substation, collection system, and met-towers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including NERC, CIP, ERCOT, FAA, and other applicable regulations.

Ensure successful use of Maintenance Management system data input, ensuring daily/monthly/bi-annual/annual information is captured and completed, updates are maintained, and repair and maintenance advisories are followed up and completed as the need arises (possibly MAXIMO).

Create reporting related to: Finance; P&L reports, EBITDA, etc.
Who You Are:

You possess Technical trade education or industrial process plant experience preferred.

7-10 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Prior wind generation plant operations experience considered an asset. Experience working with electrical systems is preferred. Solid understanding of budgets and financial reporting.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues as it relates to the onsite SCADA substation and meteorological towers.

Unwavering dedication to a safe, incident-free work environment.
This role will require being on-call (24/7) to respond to emergencies and/or maintenance needs of the site (on a pre-determined, scheduled basis).
The successful candidate will undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to a 5-year driving record, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.
Physical Requirements include but not limited to:
Must meet requirements of fit for work which includes, but is not limited to, demonstrating hand, arm, back and leg coordination needed to ascend and descend a wind tower and complying with a weight restriction of 132 kg (or 290lb) total climbing weight. Comfort with completing physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions and comfort working in enclosed spaces and at heights of 300 ft. Employee understands that these requirements may be modified at the Company’s discretion.
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand sophisticated problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, coordinate and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and connect with individuals via telephone.
