In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and configuring the key integration points of Sales and Distribution (SD) module and other SAP modules. You will leverage your expertise in SAP functional modules, BW reporting, and SQL to ensure effective integration of packaged technology into clients’ business environments. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Design and configure the key integration points for Sales and Distribution (SD) module and other SAP modules, demonstrating extensive experience in SAP versions 6.0 Enhancement Pack 5.0 or higher, with a preference for S/4HANA.

 

2. Possess a basic understanding of how SAP is configured for the SD module and navigate SPRO.

 

3. High-level knowledge of Ariba and Fieldglass.

 

4. Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 

5. Possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure effective consulting practices and techniques.

 

6. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes and contribute to the delivery of SAP functionality in a project environment.

 

7. Provide effective coaching and knowledge transfer, thriving in a team environment.

 

8. Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, ensuring fluency in English.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • 3 to 6 Years of SAP functional experience specializing in design and
  • configuration of SAP SD modules.
  • Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and
  • detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP
  • configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom
  • programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live
  • support
  • Should be able to create requirement specifications based on
  • Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes
  • Candidate should be able to work on production support and enhancements
  • independently.
  • Candidate should understand Order To Cash process and experience in Sales
  • order management is a plus

Preferred technical and professional experience

 

1. Thorough knowledge SAP SD functional modules.

 

2. Experience in SAP versions 6.0 Enhancement Pack 5.0 or higher, with a preference for S/4HANA.

 

3. Basic experience with SAP Ariba is beneficial.

 

4. Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies.

 

5. Excellent time-management skills and the ability to deliver results with an aggressive timeline.

 

6. Ability to develop strong relationships with clients.

 

7. Preferred: Experience in WM or EWM (Basic), MM, FICO, and other SAP Functional modules.

 

8. Strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask within a dynamic workplace.
