Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Functional Consultant specializing in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP EAM functionality, implementation, and integration within the SAP S/4HANA environment. You will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of SAP EAM solutions, assisting with system enhancements, and collaborating with business teams to optimize asset management processes
Your role and responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of SAP EAM solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and requirements.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to define functional requirements, gather business process information, and develop system designs for EAM modules.
- Configure SAP EAM modules (PM, CS, MM, etc.) to meet business needs, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM and PS).
- Provide guidance on best practices for asset lifecycle management, including asset creation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Develop and execute test scripts to validate system functionality and ensure successful deployment.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proper integration of SAP EAM with other enterprise systems.
- Support end-users with training, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Identify and implement process improvements within asset management practices
- Provide subject matter expertise during project phases, including blueprinting, design, testing, and go-live.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams, translating business needs into functional specifications.

Required technical and professional expertise
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, specializing in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, including configuration and implementation of EAM/PM modules.
- Solid understanding of asset management processes, including maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, service orders and asset performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in integrating SAP EAM with other modules such as Materials Management (MM), Project Systems (PS),
- Experience with business process mapping, gap analysis, and process optimization within the EAM context.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- SAP EAM certification.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications for asset management.
- Knowledge of industry-specific asset management solutions (e.g., utilities, manufacturing, etc.).
- Experience in project management or leading EAM-related projects.
