The Corporate Sustainability team is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of IGM’s environmental and social impact strategy, Action today, better tomorrow. The team works with a wide variety of business leaders across IGM Financial to implement the strategy, manage environmental and social data, transparently report on IGM’s progress and performance, and engage internal and external stakeholders on environmental, social and governance issues.We are seeking a candidate with a background and passion for Sustainability/ESG, who can support reporting, data management, sustainability research, and effectively engage with colleagues, external partners, and ESG rating firms. Key Responsibilities:Reporting and data management supportSupport the production of annual IGM sustainability report and disclosures (i.e. CDP), and maintenance of websites/intranetsSupport the collection, organization and maintenance of ESG-related data from various sources to be used by a variety of stakeholders across the company including for regulated reportingOversee data management tools and software to streamline data collection, analysis and reportingTrack IGM’s Action today, better tomorrow KPIs and maintain performance dashboardResearch supportConduct ESG research, analysis and benchmarking, and make recommendations to fill performance or transparency gaps, including evolving trends and best practicesFollow emerging standards and regulations (i.e. CSSB), and assess implications for IGMResearch ESG rating firms’ methodology and complete questionnaires to ensure appropriate assessments are competed on IGM Financial (MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global CSA, Corporate Knights Global 100/Best 50, etc.)Communications and engagement supportSupport sustainability-related company communication strategy to a range of stakeholders, including employees, advisors, clients and investorsSupport the development and execution of sustainability-related engagement activations and events for internal and external stakeholdersOther research and engagement duties as requiredQualifications:A degree in a relevant field of study (i.e., Sustainability/ESG, Environmental Science, or Business), specialized sustainability training is considered a strong asset 2-4 years of relevant sustainability/ESG experience in industry and/or consulting Working knowledge of reporting frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD, UN SDGs); and emerging standards such as CSDSExperience with sustainability/ESG tools and software considered an assetStrong excel skills and ability to work with large amounts of data Ability to compile and analyze data from multiple sources, detail-orientedStrong project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyStrong written communication and presentation skillsBenefits: COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION & RECOGNITION: competitive base salary, performance-weighted bonus, education/career support, option to join Employee Share Purchase Plan with employer matching component. The expected annual base salary range for this role is $62,500 – $83,500, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
