This role is responsible for managing end-to-end event logistics including technology platforms, communications, and data reporting across the IGM event portfolio.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.As a valued member of the Event Marketing team your core responsibilities will include:Responsible for production requirements related to design, creative development and brand compliance for event deliverables with internal and external partnersConference communication management including distributionManagement conference mailbox – responding to inquiries, communicating conference policies, developing/maintaining distribution listsManagement of all translation requests including time sensitive communication pieces, and identify at-risk timelines and providing solutionsManage online attendee registration tool, including responding to inquiries in a timely manner for field and employee eventsDevelopment and build out of digital platforms, conference websites and management of this processDevelopment and delivery of conference reporting and standardization across eventsDigital execution of events including virtual and mobileProject Management Monday.comManaging events and conferences (small to medium complexity) from ideation through execution to reportingManagement of the budget and the reconciliation of assigned eventsResponsible for F & B, room set up and management of internal and external vendors related to assigned eventsProvides creative solutions to a wide range of problems including emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, complaints and special requests.Review and analyzes feedback and attendance metrics from events and recommends improvements and document best practicesAdheres to Event & Conferences Sales Practices Guidelines and ensure all guidelines and policies are being followedSundry duties as assigned The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:Education/skills acquired through completion of a specialized post secondary degree or equivalent in Event PlanningA minimum of 3 years experience in Event PlanningStrong technical and data analytics skillsStrong project management skillsStrong critical thinking skills and ability to apply those to all events; ability to build a deep understanding of the business strategy driving the Event strategySubject Matter Expert with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Copilot)Strong working knowledge of event registration systems and virtual conference platformsAbility to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and dutiesAble to work within tight timelinesTeam player and collaboratorAbility to take directions well and run highly impactful eventsVery strong verbal and written communication skills to build internal buy-in for Event recommendations, and relay event details and requirements to internal and external participantsTravel will be requiredBilingual – an assetBenefits:  COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION & RECOGNITION: competitive base salary, performance-weighted bonus, education/career support, option to join Employee Share Purchase Plan with employer matching component. EMPLOYEE BENEFITS & INSURANCE: competitive health and dental coverage, flexible plan for you and your family and short-term & long-term disability plans. RETIREMENT SAVINGS PROGRAMS: voluntary Group RRSP enrolment with employer matching component. WORK LIFE BALANCE: paid volunteer days, competitive time off including 10 wellness days off, WorkPerks discount program, hybrid & flex work arrangements. INCLUSIVE CULTURE AND DIVERSITY: living our core values: Be a Team, Be Accountable, Be Better, engaging with community through Business Resource Groups (BRG communities are volunteer employee-led groups formed around a common interest, identity, or background).   The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is ($56,000 – $80,000), which is determined based on geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience.
