The Strategy Execution and Governance function is a critical part of the IGM Financial Strategy, Planning and Analysis team in Finance and is responsible for the development, review and facilitation of the framework and processes to transition from strategy to executable programs and projects. This includes working with the leadership teams of the IGM companies in ensuring activities, initiatives, resources across the organization are aligned with its strategic priorities and objectives, and responsive to the evolving needs of our clients and the business.The Senior Manager, Strategy Execution & Governance will be part of a core team responsible for support and facilitation of the process outlined above, preparation and conduct of our Strategy Execution Oversight Committee (SEOC) meetings, and monitoring of strategic initiative projects and programs to ensure we are making desired progress against strategic objectives. Responsibilities include:Supporting the preparation and conduct of Strategy Execution Oversight Committee (SEOC) meetings and processes, Development and enhancement of our strategic initiative business case review and authorization framework and discipline Support senior executives & business leaders to establish strategic initiative business casesManage the intake process for new initiative/project business case requestsDevelop and maintain business case templates for initiative/project submissionsEnsure adherence to strategic initiative business case standardsEstablish program of continuous improvement to business case processes, and lessons learnedCollaboration with groups across the organization to design, develop and maintain executive-level dashboards related to strategic initiative portfolio health and performance Consolidated project health/status reporting across strategic initiativesIntegrated organizational release/milestone schedulesMonitoring of actual, planned and forecasted financials and other key performance indicators across the strategic initiatives portfolioEnhance corporate planning processes through ongoing Strategic Initiative Forecast Modelling to ensure full transparency and a common understanding on aggregate impact of Strategic Initiatives on current- and future-cost structure Development and enhancement of our strategic initiative benefits tracking and realization framework to measure project outcomes, including tracking of key performance indicators at the initiative, program, project, or portfolio level against stated business casesDrive continuous improvement in governance, reporting, and decision‑support processes, including the application of automation and AI Qualifications:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business/financial advisory, planning, consulting or project planning/execution; previous experience in the financial services industryDemonstrated expertise in financial modelling (scenario analysis, sensitivities, business cases/ROI) with strong attention to detail and model governance. Advanced Excel; experience with financial systems and reporting tools; data visualization capability (e.g., Power BI/Tableau).Proven track record producing executive-ready presentations and communicating complex analysis in clear, concise storylines. Strong stakeholder management and influence skills consistent with Manager/Senior Manager competency expectations. an ability to drive continuous improvement in process and reporting through the thoughtful application of AI and automation; Proficiency with modern finance tech (Copilot, Power BI, SAP Looker, automation tools)Willingness to challenge the status quo and develop actionable solutions to evolve the SEOC process. Challenge business case and reporting submissions to improve cost and benefit ownership, improved prioritization and overall transparency on key projectsStrong understanding of governance best practice and evolving trends in investment management, including persistent teams, agile develop approaches etc.The expected annual base salary range for this role is $113 000 – $141 500, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
