At Enbridge, our Key Builder/Developer accounts team is looking to hire an outstanding Strategic Account Manager for implementing cross functional project leadership to facilitate discussions about Natural Gas as an energy of choice within the residential new construction market. As a Senior Advisor, Key Accounts, you will play a key role in developing sales strategies and pitches for each account, project to ensure gas connections aligned with organizational strategy, and provide best in class customer service to builders and developers across the province of Ontario.

What you will do:

  • Manage the key strategic builder accounts across the province including but not limited to understanding the customer’s needs, developing account plans and working across the organization to coordinate requirements for customer connections.

  • Customize sales strategy for each major accounts requirements, exploring different connection opportunities, appliance types and policy opportunities to propose energy solutions for residential developments.

  • Coordinates project specific customer connection attachment/interconnection process through collaboration with partners such as engineering, operations, gas supply and other internal teams as required.

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding the annual natural gas attachment goals.

  • Drive natural gas attachment sales results by developing cases, creating compelling sales presentations, and advocating for the continued use of natural gas through Enbridge as a valued partner of choice.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with builders and developers at all levels in their organizations from C-Suite to On Site and admin support.

  • Provide accurate and timely market outlooks and forecasts and provide recommendations to implement annual sales forecasts for assigned strategic accounts.

Who you are:

Required:

  • A university degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies or Engineering along with 6+ years of directly related experience.

  • Outstanding ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of customers and development of customized sales strategies.

  • Strong understanding of the new construction markets along with the ability to advocate natural gas.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple internal and external parties/partners.

  • Strong ability to be innovative, strategic, and initiate change.

  • Excellent interpersonal, and strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Preferred:

  • Related demand side management or conservation industry experience

  • Familiarity with building science, building codes and standards

  • Potential experience with municipal governments

  • Proficiency in Power point, MS Office and Excel

Working Conditions:

Travelling approximately 50% of the time is required in this role, including overnight, mainly within Ontario is. A valid Ontario G class driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required. Evening and weekends as required for event participation.
