What you will do:

Responsible for modification and sustainment program for wastewater treatment systems and provide support to Region Environmental and Operations personnel as needed on routine system maintenance.

Responsible for obtaining new National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits and renewals for wastewater treatment systems and water permit implementation and compliance requirements.

Responsible for monitoring compliance with the NPDES permits and preparation/submittal of Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs).

Support the development, enhancement and maintenance of data management/reporting tools and applications.

Responsible for development of strategies to manage wastewater treatment systems at specific sites.

Managing laboratories and analytical data and applicable analytical methods to meet reporting requirements.

Execute strategies to close US liabilities in an expeditious and responsible manner, keeping Enbridge’s reputation as a primary driver, including path to closure requirements for wastewater treatment systems.

Responsible for providing guidance for project and operational management of legacy polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) issues.
Who you are:
-
A post-secondary education specializing environmental science, environmental engineering, or similar physical or biological science related field.

Six years + of environmental experience in pipeline, industry, or upstream oil and gas sectors. Preferred experience with DOT Hazardous Material Transportation and RCRA Hazardous Waste.

Effective interpersonal skills, which includes the ability to work independently or in a team environment. This includes the ability to quickly identify key points from a lot of process information and transition into a practical simplified communication.

Capability in planning, implementing, and leading change initiatives including ensuring adequate change leadership.

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
