We are looking for a Supervisor Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team in Calgary AB.
The Supervisor Financial Planning & Analysis leads a team of FP&A professionals and oversees their day-to-day activities as part of the Enterprise FP&A Budgets & Forecast functions, which includes the development of the Enbridge Inc. budget and five-year projects.
The role requires a combination of strong financial acumen and analytical capability, organizational skills and a collaborative work style.

What You Will Do:
- Leads a team of FP&A professionals that develops and reports the enterprise-wide consolidated annual Budget; forecasts of anticipated consolidated results; and five year projections of financial results and positions contained within the Strategic Plan. This includes ensuring congruence of the financial information with the plans and policies of the enterprise. As well, effective and comprehensive analysis is required to bring management focus to the critical underlying issues and opportunities identified in the projections in all of the businesses of the enterprise.
- Prepares, reports and presents consolidated budget and forecast material to senior management (Controller, CAO, CFO) and prepares Board presentations.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with BU asset teams, as well as Strategy, Treasury, Tax, Risk, Corp Planning, and Financial Reporting, to ensure that financial projections are valid and incorporate their collective outlook.
- Works closely with the Internal Financial Reporting team to ensure findings in actuals are reflected in forward-looking forecasts and vice-versa, as applicable
- Oversees a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure group deliverables are met, as well as to provide strong leadership and review of work performed by junior staff
- Maintains and motivates an effective team of highly proficient professionals, providing them with opportunities to further develop their skills and talents.
- Oversees capital budget and forecast reporting, including quarterly Unbudgeted Capital Board memo.
- Supports management, and leads projects, to develop financial projections to meet the needs of other corporate groups. For instance, providing pro forma financial statements for Credit Rating Agencies, earnings at risk projections for the Risk Management group, as well as other ad hoc requests from internal parties.
Who You Are:
- Designated accountant (CPA) with 10+ years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills to validate and challenge information provided by various sources
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Prior experience in Hyperion Planning, Essbase and/or Hyperion Strategic Finance or other financial planning tools an asset
- Prior experience with modelling complex organizations an asset
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP an asset
- Strong project management and team skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
