As the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor, based out of Calgary, AB, you will lead a dedicated 24/7 team responsible for monitoring and protecting our people, facilities, and assets across the globe. What You Will Do:

Supervise 24/7 GSOC operations, ensuring continuous monitoring of global facilities and assets.

Lead and mentor GSOC operators, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency response protocols, and improve policy, procedure, and technical solutions

Act as the primary decision-maker during security incidents, coordinating real-time responses and communications.

Ensure effective use of Genetec Security Center and other integrated security technologies.
Who You Are:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, or a related field. If you do not possess a bachelor’s degree, then an additional 3-years of related experience is required.

Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or related security operations.

At least 2 years of experience in a GSOC or security team leadership/supervisory role.

Strong working knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm monitoring.

Proficiency with Genetec Security Center or similar integrated security management platforms.

Strong organizational and strategic planning skills; ability to develop SOPs and refine workflows.
Working Conditions:

Office environment (95%).
-
<5% travel for field visits/team meetings. Valid passport is required.

Occasional walking, climbing, lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Willingness to work flexible hours or be on-call as needed for a 24/7 operation

This security-sensitive role will require the successful candidate to complete both standard and enhanced background screenings. These screenings will recur periodically for as long as the successful candidate remains in a security-sensitive position, in accordance with Company policies and regulatory requirements.
