Do you have strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization?  We are looking for our next Supervisor Regional Services to develop, lead, implement, & support the LP Maintenance & Reliability programs across Enbridge’s Southwest and Gulf Coast Transmission regions. This position could be the right fit for you!

Here’s what you will do:

  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance and reliability Specialists that provide support, guidance, oversight, and services related to the region(s) Operations and Maintenance & Reliability Program.

  • Lead and implement the elements of the MRP program including develop and maintain specific asset type maintenance task best practice library (KMS) including troubleshooting guides, support the development of maintenance strategies for all new equipment as part of projects or replacements, and support the bad actor management program.

  • Identify risk and input into region’s risk register. Provide recommendations for solutions to assess and alleviate risk.

  • Apply process to alleviate risk identified in the region(s) risk register

  • Responsible for providing SME support to technical groups.

  • Minimize new equipment installation defects by participating in new equipment procurement reviews, installations, and commissioning.

  • Collaborate with equipment SME’s and OEM to correct equipment reliability issues.

  • Ensure Regional Maintenance Support staff is prepared and can respond to a pipeline emergency.

  • Represent the Region(s) on the Maintenance Advisory Team (MAT).

  • Host mini-MAT meetings within the region(s). Ensure effective communication of information to the technician level through team Specialists.

  • Establish and drive standard process and consistency of CBM/PdM Programs.

  • Lead a Regional Training Advisor in the execution and support of LP’s Technical Training program.

  • Lead a team of Emergency Response Specialist across SW Region to ensure alignment to LP’s Emergency Management program.

  • Provide leadership support, guidance, oversight, and services related to auditing of Company and 3rd measurement facilities, oil loss and gain control within the Southwest and Gulf Coast Transmission Region(s), prover and sample system certifications, adherence to OMM Book 5, and other measurement related functions, while ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement and reliability.

  • Provide leadership to staff to enhance safety culture and coaching on operations, maintenance, and reliability excellence across the region(s)

Who you are:

You have the following education and experience:

  • Post-secondary Education (degree, diploma, or certificate in a related discipline) and ten (10) or more years oil or pipeline experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of organization and hierarchy, and experience in Pipeline Operations.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to work and effectively communicate at all levels in the organization to gather information and promote improvements.   Experienced in advocating for improvements.

  • Experience with operations and maintenance of a liquid pipeline system.

  • Proven ability to initiate and manage change, be innovative, think strategically, and work well with teams.

Preferred: 

  • Experience with PdM Technologies (i.e. vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, ultrasonic inspection.)

  • Exposure to systems engineering principles and reliability tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and RCM is a benefit.

  • Registration as a CMRP or CRL.

  •  Engineering degree from an accredited college or university

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to:  Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.  Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations.  Agility with the ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet and legs, and/or hands and arms.
