We’re looking for a Supervisor, TIS Portfolio & Solution to mentor and lead a centralized team responsible for evolving the TIS Portfolio planning and solution architecture development, assessing and prioritizing Architecture development intake and demand and defining and implementing the technology strategy and vision.

What you’ll do

  • Drive the implementation of new capabilities within TIS and the business in response to planned or anticipated future need.

  • Develop the long-term vision and execution roadmap of key programs in conjunction with the enterprise architecture.

  • Define and drive development of future state architectures for Enbridge and craft solutions to achieve the future state, in alignment with business strategies and goals.

  • Cultivate a collaborative and partnered relationship with vendors to enhance the value from vendor relationships and drive maturity in the technology landscape.

  • Translate business strategies into actionable architecture strategies for multiple business domains.

  • Provide technical leadership to architecture resources across solution, portfolio planning and execution, to the business in the use of information and data.

  • Decision Effectiveness participation includes Recommend, Input, Agree, Inform and Perform.

  • Depending on project scope, acceptance / approval responsibility may be delegated to this role at the discretion of the Director.

  • Strong business and technical skill required to communicate business value and impact relative to technology changes and have a solid understanding of the business area and processes.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 7+ years of previous work experience as an Enterprise Technical or Solutions architect or similar role.

  • Advanced University degree in a related field, e.g., Computer Engineering, MBA or equivalent.

  • Knowledge and Experience in implementing cloud (IaaS and SaaS) for large organizations.

  • Experience in implementing enterprise platforms and solutions covering broad requirements with multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Ability to work closely with other architecture disciplines across integration, data, security, application and reporting.

  • Experience with presenting complex technical topics to executive leadership.

Working Conditions:

This role would involve some travel to the US and Canada.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to work in tight spaces.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
