We are currently seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT, as a Team Lead- Leak Survey. What You Will Do:

As the Team Lead- Leak Survey, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the planning, operation, maintenance, repair, and restoration of natural gas distribution facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supervising employees and contractors to ensure flawless project execution and resource management.

  • Guaranteeing the safe, dependable, and effective functioning of natural gas distribution facilities and equipment.

  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints to ensure outstanding service.

  • Coordinating technical training and development programs for employees.

  • Coordinating and communicating with various fields, including public officials, regulatory personnel, and company employees.

  • Monitoring budgets, goals, and employee efficiency to ensure success.

  • Supervising the maintenance of intermediate fast-paced and distribution natural gas systems.

  • Developing and implementing training programs for Leak Survey employees.

  • Providing support for new and existing distribution, transmission, and storage facility installations.

  • Coordinating all Leak Survey functions to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Who You Are:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Related university degree and six‐plus years’ experience OR eight‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • General knowledge of pipeline distribution systems, construction methods, maintenance, repair, operations guidelines, cost analysis, and customer service.

  • Competence in fundamental computer skills and the capacity to efficiently operate different programs, systems, and databases.

  • A detailed understanding of company policies/procedures, compliance regulations, and natural gas-related codes (e.g., DOT, OSHA, FERC, OQ).

  • Experience with budgeting (capital and O&M) and procurement processes.

  • Proven ability to supervise a diverse work group effectively.

  • Outstanding planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport and collaborate across multiple fields.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the capacity to develop practical solutions.

Preferred:

  • Prior supervisory experience in a related operations or technical field is preferred.

Physical Demands (Include but are not limited to):

  • Activities include balancing, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, and carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Tasks also involve grasping, kneeling, lifting items up to 20 pounds, pulling hand over hand, pushing, and reaching above the shoulder. The role requires repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, as well as visual abilities like seeing screens, recognizing color codes, reading fine print, and hearing.
